Prerequisite: Participants should have a solid understanding of equity and fixed income products and the types of Global Corporate Actions.

This one-day seminar presents to the participants an advanced view into Global Corporate Actions. This course will compare and contrast the US Market versus specific Global Markets. We will review the suite of corporate action processes, and compare and contrast many Global Markets. The role and impact of Global Sub-Custodians in risk management, notifications and response control will also be discussed.

The participants will be provided with detailed information on the types of corporate actions put forth in Global markets, and they will gain an understanding on how to determine and calculate entitlements, and we will conclude with an in-depth review of major and emerging market practices.

There will be review of the fundamentals, and deep dives into daily operations, Event Classifications, Risk Assessments and Risk Controls, and Event Processing.

After attending this seminar, participants will come away with a firm understanding of all aspects of Global Corporate Actions.
