This seminar presents to the participants an introductory view into Global Corporate Actions. This course will contrast and compare The US Market versus specific Global Markets. We will review the suite of corporate action processes, and compare and contrast at least two Global Markets. We will also discuss the role and impact of Global Sub-Custodians in risk management, notifications and response control.
The participants will be provided with detailed information on the type of corporate actions put forth in Global markets, and they will gain an understanding on how to determine and calculate entitlements. The course will include a guest presentation from a Global Corporate Action Information supplier, and will conclude with an in-depth review of major and emerging market practices.
