Description:
This course provides an overview of the Corporate Actions function in the US and is a foundation course for other courses involving Corporate Actions.

Learning Objectives:
When you have completed this course you should be able to answer the following questions:
- What is the purpose of Corporate Actions?
- How do Corporate Actions affect the capital structure of a corporation?
- Who are the principal participants in the processing of a Corporate Action?
- What categories of Corporate Actions exist?
- What are the principal activities in Corporate Actions processing?
- What Regulators and Regulations govern Corporate Actions?
- What information is needed to process Corporate Actions?

Format:
This course is organized into learning modules. There are quizzes after each module to reinforce the material presented. A final test at the end assesses the information learned from the whole course. (Test and quiz scores do not count if the learner is not registered for the SIP Credential)

SIP Credential:

To receive credit for the Level 1 Credential, a minimum passing grade of 90% on the final test is required.

Validity Period:
Registration will be good for up to 1 year from the registration date. There will be a $50 fee if an extension is required.
