The SOI Certifications are awarded in Securities Operations and one or more concentration areas. There are two levels of certification, Master and Specialist. Master level certifications demonstrate a more advanced level of competency:

Certifications are awarded based on industry knowledge demonstrated through classroom course credit, examinations, experience in the industry and recommendations. After a certification is awarded it is maintained through continuing education.
