Conference Description
Global Securities Operations Conference
Full-Day Conference

CPE Credits: 7 [?]

Bayards, 1 Hanover Square
New York, NY, 10004
US

September 21, 2004
After years of false starts, a true global infrastructure is beginning to take shape to support the exploding volume of cross-border trading. Not only are depositories, clearinghouses, regulators, custodians and broker-dealers dedicating increased resources to manage the risks and increase the efficiencies associated with global clearance, settlement and asset servicing, but industry groups and even government organizations have proposed complex and comprehensive models for implementing appropriate cost and risk controls.

This conference will explore the various initiatives that have been put forth, as well as examine the actual solutions proposed by DTCC, leading vendors and industry organizations to deal with global securities processing from trade to settlement to safekeeping.
