Hedge Funds have experienced a major realignment as the impact of the credit crisis affected investments and investors. These drivers, plus the need for increased transparency and accuracy will affect Hedge Funds in many ways.
Managing operational risk and the standardization of operational processes have become a significant issue to hedge fund investors, administrators and regulators and the ineffective practices of the past are no longer adequate. This requires new strategies, which need to be focused on improving processing efficiently and accurate and reporting, while mitigating operational risk.
